About Home Server

This guide contains everything related to Home Server.

It includes deployments, installations, experiments etc. It also serves as a guide to setup home server as a File server, Web Server, Docs explorer etc.

It's recommended to use Ubuntu Server OS for Home Server, for its simplicity. Also, the home server won't have a GUI and is connected to the internet via Ethernet port.

This doc assumes that the Home Server machine has a static IP of 192.168.1.100.
